Hillbilly Space Adventures

Hey guys! This week in character design the assignment was to create a character based on a piece of music.

I chose “Journey of the Sorcerer” from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy 

She is a hillbilly girl who decides to leave home, with her pet Opossum, to become a space wizard.

(Special thanks to Phil for his critique and Brigette for coming up with the Opossum idea!)

Post-it-O-Rama!

Lately, things have been super busy with film and portfolio work, but I have started a habitat of taking breaks by doing little sketches on Post it notes. It's great because I can't get too caught up in such a small drawing! They are mostly fanart or little character design sketches. These are my favorite from the past couple of weeks!
