Attack the Block!
I just saw this movie and I am totally in love with it. It's got two things that I love, cool aliens and unconventional heroes.
Watch it if you haven't!

Back in the swing of things
Hello everyone! I'm back at school, which means back to being incredibly busy. Hopefully, I will be able to post most of my assignments as I finish them though!
Speaking of which, here's my Character Design assignment for Phil Rynda's class this week. The assignment was a Princess, Prince, and a Villain with a Triangle, Circle, and Square motif.

What I Wore Today
What I Wore Today- August 11th
A.K.A “Oh my gosh Samantha, that marimba player is so cute!”
Ok, technically this is a day late, but I was a little tired after coming home from this last night. My sister and I went to the Drumming Core International World Championship Prelims! And we were actually stupidly excited about it. My high school never had a drum line or color guard so it was insanely cool to see these semi-professional squads! And those were some SUPER colorful costumes and flags
(And my sister is a steel drum player, so she was scoping out all the percussionists)

Odds and Ends
Here's just a small collection of some sketches and things from this summer.
A goose I did one morning when I saw a bunch of them outside my house. Geese are scary.
A little painting inspired by Jonsi's song "Boy Lilikoi".
This was done for the "Doodlepoops" blog for the "Create a Movie Poster" theme! District 9 is my favorite movie!
And this was Luna Lovegood was a request on my Tumblr.

What I Wore Today
June 23
A.K.A What I Wore for My Hot Date with Neil Patrick Harris and Stephen Colbert.
Because I got to see a filmed version of Company at a local Arts Theatre today! It was really good! Gotta Love some Sondheim!!
This is a super quick sketch I did afterwords. Not sure what I was thinking with the gradient business.
And before I bid you adieu for this post! I realized I never mentioned where I got the idea to do the What I Wore Today exercise! That would be from miss Tiffany Ford and miss Sophie Diao!!
They are both incredible, so go check them out if you haven't already!!!!

Another Summer Drawing Dump
I'm going to apologize right off the bat for the jumbledness of this post. Just a big mish mash of drawings from the past week or two!
Trying to get back into the swing of drawing from life! So I spent one morning sketching my dogs.
I was watching/listening to Hairspray. I think 60's dresses are incredibly cute.
I told myself I would try not to post fanart here too often, but I liked this so I thought I'd throw it in this post. ...Anyone read Homestuck?

Sketches from movies
Nope, not film stuff!
These are pretty old, from last semester, but I was scanning some stuff from my sketchbooks and I thought I would post these!
Mostly just me foolin' around while watching Harry Potter movies and Sweeney Todd. I don't necessarily love these, but I thought some of them came out kinda fun.
And these are some studies from District 9 (Loove that movie)
